Our rug Béni Ouarain are woven by the women of the Béni Ouarain tribe in the Atlas mountains of Morocco. This tribe is renowned for producing some of the finest wool in the world, and their rug have a remarkably soft, plush texture. Each of our rug béni Ouarain is woven knot by knot using ancestral techniques handed down from mother to daughter through the generations.

The Beni Ouarain tribe traditionally uses raw wool, which is why it’s more common to see these rug in white/cream colors with natural black or brown patterns created by the wool of the black sheep in the flock.
